    • NEW BUSINESS CONTACTS

      Membership Breakfasts, Lunches and After Hours: The Chamber holds 2 breakfast meetings and 3 lunch meetings for members to meet one another, talk about their business and hear from speakers about topics of interest to enhance their business or learn more about their community. After Business hour meetings are designed to just get together with your co-chamber members to talk about business or just relax and get to know one another better.

      Chamber Committees: The NACC has several opportunities for it’s members to get involved with their chamber and community through the Economic Development Committee, the Government Affairs Committee and Committees for the RUNorwalk, Golf Outing or Wine Harvest Celebration Event. Serving on your NACC Board is a great opportunity to be involved and help in enhancing the business and residential community and provides opportunities to obtain more business connections and clients.

    • PUBLICITY AND EXPOSURE

      A Monthly Newsletter is sent out to every Chamber member as well as available to the general public with Chamber updates and info.

      Ribbon Cuttings are available to all Chamber Members to announce grand openings, remodeling or relocation. NACC Community guide allows all Chamber Members 2 listings and the opportunity to purchase an ad at a reduced rate.

      Website listing allows you a business listing with your email address and/or a link to your website.

      Every Chamber member is allowed one advertisement for free per year, in the monthly Chamber newsletter.

      Every Chamber member has the opportunity to promote it’s business during home Football games for free.

      Sponsorships are always available for our Chamber Events to promote your business to the community.

      “Welcome to Norwalk” packets with information you provide are sent to every new resident and to people interested in relocating to Norwalk.

    APPLICATION

    Please click here for a membership application. Mail the application along with your check made payable to the Norwalk Area Chamber of Commerce (NACC).

    Dues can be paid annually or semi-annually. Other payment arrangements are made on a case by case basis.

    Your membership will include one designee for the business. If you wish for additional representation, which would be considered a voting member add an additional $85.00 for voting representative. This would cover the costs of mailing and administration.

    NOTE: Pursuant to the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1993, 5% of your dues which supports governmental affairs activities is no longer deductible. However, 95% of your dues remains deductible.

    DUES SCHEDULE:

    Basic Membership Rates
    Individual/Church/Non-Profit: $135.00
    Business (1-9 Employees): $210
    Business (10+ Employees): $260
    Additional Participating Member: $85.00

    Membership Benefits included with Dues:

    **Networking opportunities in the Norwalk area such as: Chamber Member breakfast/lunch meetings and your meal is provided at no additional cost, volunteer opportunities within your community, attend ribbon cutting/grand openings of new businesses, attend NACC events throughout the year such as annual banquet, barn party, golf outing, run/walk event, I-Cubs Chamber night, etc.

    **Networking opportunities in the Greater Des Moines Metro area by attending their membership meetings/events

    **Membership in the Greater Des Moines Affiliates Association and included in their Directory and on their website. Dues paid to NACC will allow one category listing and one contact person.

    **Representing your interests in and around Des Moines as well as Washington DC and being invited to attend legislative events

    **Advertising opportunities in the Buyer's Guide, Monthly Newsletter-which includes one FREE ad per year, high school football games, special events, business card/brochure included in mailing packets to new or potential new residents of the Norwalk area, name on the NACC website with link to your email address and/or website.

    Chamber Champion Levels

    Platinum Level-$2,500.00
    1. Includes full membership benefits for you and two other participants within your business.
    2. Named sponsor for the Barn Party
    3. One 4-person team to Golf Outing
    4. Named Hole Sponsor for Golf Outing
    5. 4 tickets to I-Cubs Chamber Night
    6. 2 seats to Annual Banquet
    7. Business name posted at every meeting/event in HUGE, BOLD letters

    Gold Level-$1,500.00

    1. Includes full membership benefits for you and one other participant within your business.
    2. One 4-person team to Golf Outing
    3. 4 tickets to I-Cubs Chamber Night
    4. 2 seats to Annual Banquet
    5. Business name posted at every meeting/event in HUGE letters

    Silver Level-$1,000.00

    1. Includes full membership benefits for you
    2. 2 tickets to I-Cubs Chamber Night
    3. 1 seat to Annual Banquet
    4. Business name posted at every meeting/event in BIG, BOLD letters

    Bronze Level-$500.00

    1. Includes full membership benefits for you
    2. 1 ticket to I-Cubs Chamber Night
    3. Business name posted at every meeting/event in BIG letters.

    Dues for Previous Members after March 31st

    Dues are Prorated for remainder months, PLUS a $15.00 late fee if membership is renewed BEFORE June 30th. After June 30th a late fee of $25.00 will be imposed on the prorated due amount for the remainder of the year.

    Dues for New Chamber Members:

    If Business has been in the area for over 1 year, dues will be prorated and a late fee of $10.00 shall be added.

    If it is a Brand New Business, Dues will be prorated for remainder of the year.

    Chamber Members & Chamber Directory

    For a Chamber Member to be listed in the Chamber Directory and listed in the Greater Des Moines Partnership Directory and online, they must be in good standing with the Norwalk Area Chamber of Commerce and all dues must be paid in full no later than March 1st.
