Honoring Grant kimball for Student of the Year

Grant Kimball is the son of Laura and Jeff Kimball of Norwalk. Grant has an older brother Dean, who graduated from NHS in 2020, a younger sister Brooke, who is in 10 grade, and a younger brother Jack, who is in 5th grade. Grant currently ranks in the top 5% in the class of 2022 and has a 3.96 grade point average on a 4.00 scale.  He has received his academic pin/bar each year and has been on the honor roll each semester. Grant will receive the Distinguished Norwalk Achievement diploma. By the end of his senior year he is on track to have completed seven college courses from Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) and fourteen AP Collegeboard/advanced courses.

 

Grant wants to enter a US Service Academy and continue on to serve the United States of America. Grant has been a leader at Norwalk High School in band as a letter winner, part of numerous honor bands, and soloist awards. In the area of athletics, Grant has been on the wrestling, football, and tennis teams. 

 

Grant participated in the American Legion boys state for Norwalk, Iowa and received numerous accolades from the event. He also spent most of his summer attending camps and programs to prepare himself for his future. Grant is a role model for current and future Warriors.
